The schedule for the eighth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) has been finalized and is expected to be announced on Friday and the opening ceremony is likely to be held in Multan.
According to sources, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will hold final consultations with PSL franchises tomorrow.
Sources have said that the opening ceremony of PSL 8 will be held in Multan as per the schedule so far.
It should be noted that earlier the possibility of shifting the opening ceremony of PSL 8 from Multan to Karachi was shown, but it is said that the opening ceremony will be held in Multan itself.
As per the schedule, the event will start from February 13 and the tournament matches will be played at 4 venues while the final match will be held on March 19.
Sources said that PSL 8 matches will be held in Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi and Karachi and apart from this, the strategy of holding exhibition matches between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators teams in Quetta is also under consideration.
